Chat Function really needed to be opened up for evaluative purposes

I have been asking for over a week for Canvas to please open up the chat function on my teacher edition trial course.

I have experienced absolutely no "movement" on this issue.

How in the world can the company expect me to give a favorable report to my school when I cannot access this function to test it out.

Opening the function up is not something which this forum can co, although I greatly appreciate the prior responses to my question (which clearly indicated that I was not doing something incorrectly by not seeing it).

Can someone suggest how I can elevate my request (made, already, three times)?
