Content won't save

I am trying to create content in my Canvas course and the page won't save. I receive a message saying that "[the title of the document] does not exist, but you can create it now," then it keeps making duplicates of that file name. When I click on the page to try to edit it, I get a "Page not found" error message. If I try to remove the page, I receive a pop-up that says the action could not be completed because of a 404 - page not found error. 

I have tried clearing the cache and cookies, and have restarted my computer. It was working fine earlier and now it won't save any work.
