Creating an ondemand course in Canvas

I want to create a course with Modules.  Each module is a video where I share information to other teachers.  At the end of each module, they either have a quiz or post to a Discussion Board to complete.  I want them to watch the video again if they don't get the quiz answers correct.

The idea is that my regional school will post the class asynchronous with a begin and end date.  I will then go in and modify my Canvas course with correct begin and end dates.  I have the videos embedded and the quizzes created..How do I test if this will really work?

Howdy!

If your institution / course has Mastery Paths enabled, then you can say if your students (teachers in the district) get less x% on the quiz, it will make available a new page / "path" for them.

OR another option is to provide "Feedback" in the quiz. There is a way to add comments that show up in the quiz results when they get a question right or wrong. For the wrong questions, you could refer them back to the video.

To test if it works, you can use the "student view" in your Canvas course and go through the modules like your "students" would.

Hello, @TrishPeterson !

@KyleighBecker is correct. Adding the relevant guides for reference:

If you’re concerned about publishing the course in the production environment, you may want to test it first in your institution’s test or beta environment (if available).

Let us know if you have any further questions.
