All I wanted to do is create an announcement page to add to my assignments? I'm not getting to that just one page (announcement/templet page) when I logged on. Please advise

Hi  @juanita_cantu  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

I am not understanding what you are asking. Could you clarify?

• When you first log in to Canvas, you are not on a course page, you are on the Dashboard, and the announcements on the Dashboard are global announcements posted by your Canvas Admin. Are you expecting to see an announcement you created on the Dashboard?
• When you navigate to a course, you see the Home page set by the course builder, and you can click on "Announcements" in the course navigation menu to view the course announcements. Is this where you are expecting to see an announcement you created? If so,
• You can display recent course announcements at the top of your home page (if you are a teacher). This guide will tell you how How do I show recent announcements in the Course Home Page?  
• Finally, are you using a Free-for-Teachers Canvas course? If so, then you will still see the Announcements link in Course navigation.

Fill in the blanks for us, and we will try to better help and guide you.
