[ARCHIVED] Discussion Page Issues

When I use the Discussion page, I have to continually refresh the page or the messages don't come through. Is there a way to fix this so that the replies/comments from students automatically come through?

I am using this as a way of communicating with students during lesson time while we are online learning.

Hi  @kym_ellis ...

If you have students who are posting replies to a discussion topic at the very same time that you are also on that same discussion topic page (but not replying to someone), you will always need to refresh your page (which you can do by pressing the F5 button on your keyboard).  Discussion topics do not have an "auto refresh" whenever new discussion replies are posted from your students.
