Does the student lose access to the course if one login (of several logins) is deleted?

Our students have two logins. One with Canvas as a provider, and one with saml as a provider.
The login with Canvas as a provider is suspended, while saml is active.

The students are added to courses with logins. In some courses they are enrolled with canvas login, and in others with saml login.

If I delete a student's Canvas login, what happens with the access to the course where the canvas provider login was used to enroll the student to the course?
I expect that the student will not lose access to any course or any assessments. but I'm asking here to be sure.

I intend to clean up the logins in canvas, by deleting all canvas logins.

Full disclosure...I am a former Canvas administrator, and I didn't have lots of experience with this, but I wonder if merging two accounts for a student would be a better option for you?  Have you considered that option?  It sounds like you are a Canvas administrator at your school.  If so, here are some instructions for you on how this all works.  Keep in mind the information in the light blue box at the top of the page:

Again, I'm not sure if this will help or not, but I thought I'd throw out this suggestion...just in case.

Hi,
The account has already been merged, so that the students have two logins.
I tested what happened if I deleted one login. It turns out that there is no problem. You are still a member of the course, even if you delete a login.
When I deleted one login, the name of the Login ID under people in the course changed name from the one that was deleted to the other login. Canvas User_ID is probably mapped to Canvas Course_ID. Which means that the student is still a member of the course.
