Email attached to a different user

I have a previous employee at my school (over 3 years ago) that is getting notifications from current Canvas courses.  She is not a user in canvas (from what I can tell).  When I type in her name under "people" I get nothing.  When I search for her e-mail address, I get a different teacher that is currently here.  When I check his credentials: email, username, classes etc. I cannot find her e-mail address anywhere.

That does sound very strange. Perhaps the current teacher mistyped his email address when adding Canvas notification preferences? Does the previous teacher's email address display on the Notifications page?

No, his correct email does.

Hi  @edenos ,

Have you tried masquerading as the current employee to see if they have additional emails listed in their user profile? I found it's sometimes it's hard to see all of a user's emails without masquerading. If it's still not coming up, though, I'd recommend reaching out to Canvas Support for further assistance.
