Email notifications to students on Course dates/quiz deadlines etc

Hi, how can I set an email announcement/reminder to students to inform them they have been assigned to a course and reminders sent to their emails from canvas automatically if they have not finished their courses by the stipulated due date?

There is nothing that I am aware of that would send out an automatic message about due date deadlines.  I am aware of a Feature Idea that might meet your needs, though: Automatic due date reminder notifications.

The only other thing I was thinking of was using some of the available reporting options in New Analytics.  However, I'm not sure that any of these are exactly what you are looking for.  See this Guide for further details: How do I view and download reports in New Analytics?

Adding on the @Chris_Hofer reply, there is an option to message students along with some conditions in New Analytics. I guess this will be helpful for you.
