How do I embed a pic into my canvas

I am a student and I am trying to embed a photo in a lecture response. But, when I upload it from the student file it comes in upside down.

Hey Mark.

I saw this issue in a questions earlier this week.  You can find it at https://community.canvaslms.com/message/186566-upside-down-image-in-annoucements 

One thing the poster noted was resetting the picture to a standard size ratio.  That might be worth giving a try.
