[ARCHIVED] Enabling Discussion for students

Trying to have a discussion with students in lieu of in person review session, but the Discussion is not enabled for students, they can't access it.  How do i fix this?

Hi Ted! It sounds like you need to modify your course navigation menu. The How do I manage Course Navigation links? guide explains how to do that. And, if you haven't already done so, make sure you've published your discussion to allow students to view it.

Thank you; shortly after I posted my question I got an email from a student saying that she could now access the discussion.  I had fussed around a little bit, and must have accidently done something right, but at this point I really don't know what I did.  Hopefully I'll eventually get this thing figured out as I inch up the slope of the learning curve.  But thanks for your help.
