Existing page disappears after importing another page.

I had published a page for this week's math instruction in my Canvas course. Then, I imported a new page for next week's math instruction. After importing, this week's math page was gone.  I only have the new one for next week. I have tried the /undelete trick, but the page is not listed. This also happened to a colleague. Any suggestions on why the pages are disappearing?

This works on pages that were deleted. put your school name and the course number in the link below.

https://YOURNAME.instructure.com/courses/YOURNUMBER/undelete 

Or you can click on the three dots on right top and look at "View Page history" and if a previous version was there you can restore that one.

I was just saving a page and computer locked up. And now the page is gone... If anyone has suggestions for that. Uggh.

This has happened to me as well when importing duplicate (or near duplicate) pages from other course shells. Undelete doesn't work - Canvas seems to replace the old one with the new one, often in place in the module. This has happened enough times now that I know it's not a user error or that I'm imagining things! I would love to know a workaround if anyone has one. Thanks!
