Extracting article from web

Can you extract a news article so that you can highlight text and embed in Canvas?

Virtually any digital content can be uploaded to or embedded in a Canvas course; or, if you are a student, submitted to an assignment, discussion or even posted as the answer to a quiz item if your instructors permits it.

Even non-digital content, such as the page of a newspaper or magazine could be scanned, run through an optical character recognition app and uploaded.

And, if the content in on the Internet, you can also link to it.

Could you be more specific on what you are trying to do?

I wanted to highlight and annotate over a NY Times article, THEN put it in

Canvas. I figured it out though.

If you scanned that article, please keep in mind that scanned content is inaccessible to users of screen-reader tech, and should be run through OCR.

Thanks, but no, I ctrl-P and saved as a .pdf, then uploaded to Kami to

annotate, saved and uploaded to Canvas.
