Fonts on Canvas (and on Quizzes in particular)

So starting summer 2020, the New Rich Content Editor allows instructors to select fonts of their choosing. This was an absolute requirement and way past due.

But...

Is this not available when making New Quizzes. For the life of me, and when writing a new question within New Quizzes, I cannot seem to find the option of changing fonts.

Is the editor, within New Quizzes, still the old editor?

In Computer Science, we NEED to use monotype fonts for code. And if accessibility were an issue, monotype is, arguably, the most accessible, as all characters are equally spaced!

In summary (and I may be blind; if so, please pardon me), how do we choose fonts within the question editor of New Quizzes?

While I am not 100% certain of this, it does appear that New Quizzes is using some form of the current/classic Rich Content Editor (RCE).  Take a look at these comparisons:

The icons in the New RCE do look different compared to what you see in the current/classic RCE and in New Quizzes.  Just my observation and $0.02, though.
