Gated content in a course

How does one do gated content in a Canvas course?  I have a video that I want students to see AFTER they read a page.  I doesn't look like our instance Canvas supports that level of access control like Moodle's activity completion tracking.

Hello there, @JackFS4 ...

Do you think that using module requirements might work for your needs?  You could set it so that students must move through things in sequential order.  So, you’d have one content page with your reading…and then another page that has your video on it.  See How do I add requirements to a module? for more information.
