Can someone from Canvas definitively answer these questions?
1. "Is the Google Cloud Assignemnts external tool in Assignments going away?"
2. "If so, when?"

Hi @ICCSDInnovation -
I spoke with a member of the Product Team, and they said that Instructure hasn't set a date quite yet. They also shared that we won't establish any type of timeline until Google has finished parity work with Google Assignments. After they finish and see positive experiences we’ll look at defining (and communicating!) a timeline.
To keep up-to-date on all of those timelines, please follow Upcoming Canvas Changes

@KristinL I was recently asked about the sunsetting of Cloud Assignments. I wasn't able to find a more recent update on this...do we know anything more about the parity work? I seem to recall the Collaborations feature was a missing piece in the newer LTI.
Is there a specific date when this happens? What happens to existing Google Cloud assignments?
