Grades not posting

I am a student taking a canvas course that is required for my high school from UT Austin. I have passed the full course and taken the final exam, but my course is now gone, I cannot connect the instructor, and I was never notified on my final exam grade or if I even passed. Is there a way to find out if I passed, does not being notified on my failing/passing mean I passed anyway? If anyone doesn’t know, could you give me the contact info of someone who knows OR someone he works directly with the UT Austin canvas system?

Hi @EVANGELINEREIST,

Welcome to the Canvas Community.  This is a discussion board for Canvas users from different schools all over the country, so be aware that we have no connection to your school and no specific information about your course, your grade, standard procedures at your school, or contact information for your school.

First, look at your complete list of courses to be sure that the course is actually not there anymore: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Student-Guide/How-do-I-view-all-my-Canvas-courses-as-a-student/ta... .  It's normal for only the current term's courses to be shown in the Dashboard, but older courses should still be visible in the full course list unless the instructor has specifically set the course to no longer be visible after the end of the term.  To view your grades in an older course, see https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Student-Guide/How-do-I-view-my-grades-in-a-concluded-course/ta-p/...

Beyond that, it is generally up to the instructor how they choose to distribute grades to students.  If you have questions about your grade, you will want to contact the Help Desk at the school, who should be able to put you in contact with the correct people.  A quick search of the UT Austin website turned up this link: https://onestop.utexas.edu/student-records/grades/#help
