Grading with a stylus

How do I grade on my Surface Pro with a styus? I tried clicking on the pen tool but it is very clunky. Grading with a stylus was so easy in Blackboard. It was almost like writing on a paper with a pen. If I needed to correct something, I just clicked on the eraser and erased what I needed to fix. I can't find an eraser in Canvas. If there is something I need to correct, the only thing I've been able to do is trash everything I wrote with the stylus and begin again. It is awful and takes SO MUCH TIME. Surely there is something else that I should be doing to make this work, right?

The only recent conversation I've seen about using a stylus is located at: Help using stylus to grade math papers.  I don't have experience using a stylus myself to grade (as I'm a Canvas admin and not an instructor), but hopefully this conversation might help in some way.  There may be other people who have more experience with this than I do, so hopefully you'll see some other replies soon.  Good luck!

I'm trying to find the same thing, but I wasn't trying with my Surface (but my pen does also work on my surface). 

Other than downloading and uploading (which I don't want to do), I've heard that only the IPad works with the Canvas app. But I don't have an Ipad. There are some threads out there discussing English instructors grading papers that led me to the iPad being the only one that works for writing with stylus. I also have a coworker that uses the Ipad (and an old one at that) and has no issues. 

I really don't want to have to buy an iPad just to use my stylus with Canvas. I've tried Firefox, Edge, and Chrome and nothing works. 

Sorry I couldn't help more. At least now we have 2 threads going on this and maybe Canvas will check it out, too!
