Having issues with timer being deducted off of loading time on quizzes and exams

I am a student who uses Canvas as part of the LMS for my university. Every week we have to write a timed quiz with a 10 minute timer, but on Canvas, whenever we click to start the quiz, the timer starts, even though the quiz itself hasn't loaded in yet. As a result, whenever the quiz does load in, we have to work with less time than we should be working on, which is especially disadvantageous for shorter exams. If possible, is there a way to give feedback to request the developers of Canvas to update it so that quiz timers start only when the quiz has been loaded in. Also, in the meantime are there any tips/tricks to use to speedup the loading of quizzes?

Hello @GaurangBhana - you mentioned the weekly quiz has a ten-minute time limit and I am curious what delay is being observed with the loading time. For example, are you seeing it take ten seconds to load or perhaps longer? What does a quiz consist of? Are these just text or are images, video or other media part of a quiz?

Other questions I have are: what devices are being used? Mobile or desktop/ laptop? Is this in a classroom setting with +20 students accessing the quiz at the same time or is this asynchronous? Also, tell us about the connection - is this via wireless or a wired connection. For either, what is the typical Internet speed?

@GaurangBhana You can submit this as a feature request here. In your request, you may want to say that the timer should start `onload`.
