Help with File viewing and restriction

I would like for my students to view my power point files without being able to download them. Is this possible?

Hi  @shsmith1   I am not aware of any feature within Canvas that allows a file to be viewed but not downloadable.  You may be interested in reading this thread discussing the feature and why it may not be implemented in the near future, https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1732-make-a-file-read-only-but-not-downloadable-in-canvas" mod....  Being said, you may be able to link to your presentations in Google Drive and make them viewable but not downloadable.  I haven't done this myself but it is discussed a bit in this thread,  How do I block students from sharing copies of Google Docs distributed in Classroom? - Classroom Com....
