How do I unlock pages so my students can view?

Are you asking about the "Pages" course navigation button that appears on the left side of your Canvas environment?  If so, does the "Pages" button currently have a crossed-out eye icon next to it?  If so, then you can enable this button by configuring your course navigation settings.  Check out this Guide: How do I manage Course Navigation links?.
