Hi Folks,
Can you shed some light on the following question:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you ask/research the Campus Community members who use PeopleSoft
direct to Canvas on how they manage combining and separating courses?
This is a question Sushma is interested in understanding as we explore
the idea of course and user data going from PS to Canvas directly.

Hello @kimhuang. We are a Canvas/PeopleSoft institution and do this a lot. When you cross-list in Canvas, Canvas retains the sections (really helpful for many reasons) and this is what links back to PeopleSoft. So, cross-listing has no impact with syncing of courses.

Hi @kimhuang
If you have crosslisted your courses in Peoplesoft you will not have to crosslist them in Canvas. Is that what you are asking about?
Hi @scottdennis Thanks so much for your reply. Just want to clarify that the question is about the courses not officially x-listed as far as the Registrar is concerned, but done upon special requested just in Canvas, but not recorded in PS.
Best regards,
-Kim
