Hello team.
I have a question about bulk exporting grades.
I have an outcomes-based gradebook that is set up by my government education department (DoE markbook).
When I bulk export my student grades and open them in excel, they are sorted in the date that they created. I have experimented with alphabetic/numerical changes and also due dates etc. but no luck.
It would be very good to be able to sort this. It is the format that I need to archive my gradebook within my school.
Thanks.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Before exporting the Markbook, you can change the sorting order by clicking the "gear icon" (next to the export button).
In the settings panel, go to "View Options" tab select the "Arrange By" option, remember to press "Apply Settings". When exporting - ensure that you've removed all filters then select "Export Current Markbook View" instead of the Entire Markbook option
Hi @adam_scott-mcgu -- so, is it not possible to edit the excel file to the order and format you need?
Before exporting the Markbook, you can change the sorting order by clicking the "gear icon" (next to the export button).
In the settings panel, go to "View Options" tab select the "Arrange By" option, remember to press "Apply Settings". When exporting - ensure that you've removed all filters then select "Export Current Markbook View" instead of the Entire Markbook option
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, this solution doesn't apply to my scenario. I am using a markbook that uses "Outcomes" instead of marks. It is set up by my institution for criterion based assessment. I've attached an image of the markbook view.
Thanks,
Adam.
