How do I duplicate a course including all assessments and documents with a new title?
I have several single semester courses that I have to duplicate for semester 2 this year. Is there a quick way that I can duplicate these courses and simply change the due dates on assignments and quizzes? I'm sure there is but I'm a long way from proficient with canvas as used by Queensland Education (Q Learn)

Hi there, @KeithDICKINSON ...
There sure is! First, I assume that you have at least one course that has content in it. And second, I assume that you also have a course shell that does not have any content in it. For example, If you had taught a course this past Spring and now you want to copy that content into an upcoming Fall semester, you can absolutely do that.
- Log in to your course that does not have any content. Think of this as your "destination" course.
- Follow the steps outlined in this Guide: How do I copy content from another Canvas course u... - Instructure Community - 1012
- Be sure as you are going through these steps that you choose your course that does have content in it (think of this as your "source" course)...as you will be copying/importing content from your "source" course into your "destination" course.
- During this import process, there is an option to adjust events and due dates. You can choose to do that now, or there is a screen that you can update all your assignment due dates and availability dates all on one page later on.
