How do I give my students access to the files in my course?

This guide will help you, but essentially you

• Go to Settings,
• Open the Navigation tab,
• Drag Files to the top area.

Hi Blain,

There are many ways to organize your course content and share those files.

One way is to leave make sure Files is not hidden in the course menu.   Then students can access all the files. You may want to organize the files in folders to make them easy to find.  Otherwise it's just in alphabetical order.

All your static uploaded files will live in Files, but can be linked to other places in your course.

I highly recommend organizing course content in Modules (So, What's a Module, Anyway? .  Then you can add links to your files directly under a module, or onto a Page.  I also personally like to add links to files on Pages, because this allows the teacher the ability to type text and put the links to the files in context (explain what to do with the files, why they are there, etc).
