How do I reply to a discussion as a student?

The discussion option on the left side on blue doesn't pop up for me. But the assignment requires me to do so.

Hi @galvanang 

Even if there isn't a link to "Discussions" in the course menu, if there is an assignment which is a graded discussion, you should see a link to the discussion in the assignment itself.  If you're not sure how to get to the discussion, you'll want to ask your instructor, since it might be linked in many different places, and only your instructor knows how they have the course and assignment set up.
