How do I upload an accessible syllabus?

I would like to know how, if possible, to upload or link into an accessible syllabus in Canvas. I create the document in Word and have done the best I can with headings and with links (I guess). I'm still learning about best practices. Normal copy/paste into the Syllabus area destroys all that.
