I want to archive my old class syllabi from previous semesters and start a new home page for this spring 2025. How do I do that? Thanks!!

@MariaMaggenti ...
Are you asking about wanting to start an entirely new course in Canvas vs. just a new home page? I'm not sure if you are currently re-using the same Canvas course shell or not, but many schools set up Canvas so that they have separate courses from one semester to another...keeping the students separated. For example, you might have 15 students in an "Art History" section A course in the Fall semester, and an "Art History" section B course in the Spring semester with 12 different students. You can import (copy) content from the Fall course into the Spring course. This would include copying the contents of your course Syllabus. If this is the kind of setup you're looking for, I'd recommend that you reach out to your school's Canvas administrator (or someone from your school's Online Learning team) to have further discussions about how your Canvas courses are currently configured. That team may have suggestions for you or procedures in place to get what you're looking for in Canvas.
If you could help clarify as to what you're looking to accomplish, we might be able to provide some basic guidance here in the Community. Thanks!
