How to switch between students at different schools?

I am set up as an observer for two children at two different schools.  I cannot figure out how to switch between the two kids.  On my profile, it lists that I am an observer for both kids.

Same district.  When I originally observed my second daughter, I saw her information, but since I became an observer to my second daughter, her courses are the only ones that I can search.  When I go to ALL COURSES, I see my second daughter's teacher and classes but they are not "Blue" so I cannot click on them.  Please let me know if that makes sense.  Kathy

There's a chance that the courses for the term aren't in a current term. Once you're in that active "window" of time, they'll become clickable.

You can definitely observe two students with the same account, but some families choose to use two separate email addresses -- one for each child.

To add another student to your observer account. First, click Account, then Settings, then Observing. You'll need a pairing code for the new student, too. Once that pairing code is entered, BOTH students' courses will be listed on your dashboard. With color-coding, nicknames, and drag-and-drop ordering, you can organize your dashboard by student.

The Canvas Parent app would also be a great option for you! With the app, you can view one student at a time.

I am not sure if this assists as I am in Aus and not USA however we have had this and we worked with the parent and she looks at one child via the app and one via the browser and finds that this is the easiest way to keep all in order.
