How to upload a video in a discussion post?

I have tried to load a video introduction onto my discussion post this week but it continues to say loading reply and then says an error has occurred. This is recorded on a MacBook.

This sounds frustrating. Is the video very long? Sometimes longer videos can be a challenge.
