Is there a way to respond to inbox messages from email on my phone?

Currently I receive the message in my email, but I am unable to reply from my email on my phone. I have to go to my computer to login to Canvas then I can respond to the inbox message.

You should be able to reply to a Canvas Inbox message from your email providing that your email is confirmed, please take a look at this post if you were asked to confirm the communication channel: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Question-Forum/Respond-to-Messages-in-the-Canvas-inbox-via...

However, I would recommend installing Canvas (Student or Teacher) App on your phone as it will allow you to add an attachment.

@LaurieSmith1 as stated in How do I manage my Canvas notification settings as an instructor? 

You may be able to reply directly to email notifications outside of Canvas. Replies are updated in the Canvas Inbox. However, please be aware that attachments added as part of an external reply are not included with the message shown in Canvas.

That means you can simply reply to the emailed notification that you have received and Canvas will route it back to the correct user's Inbox.
