I am trying to see if there is a way that I can submit assignments for my students. I always run the plagiarism checker on written assignments. I have some students who will email me their assignment instead of turning it in on Canvas. Is there a way I can manually submit assignments for the students?

Hi @aross150
There is a relatively new "Submit on behalf of student" permission that has been added to Canvas fairly recently. It's explained at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-submit-an-assignment-on-behalf-of-a-stu...
However, as the article says, if you don't see the option to submit on behalf of the student, it may be that your Canvas admin has not enabled that on your school's Canvas instance yet. You will want to contact Canvas Support at your school and see if they are willing to enable it.
