Is there a way to automate bulk conversion of Assignments to Pages?

I have a whole bunch of Assignments from my course last year and, after the fact, I have decided that they would be better as Pages.   Is there a way to bulk convert them?  I'd like to be able to just select a list of Assignments and then select Convert to Pages.

Unfortunately, Canvas does not currently provide you with a way to bulk change the item-type of existing items in your course. I think the best way to go about this would be to copy and paste all of the information from the assignment using 'control A', and pasting it onto the page. To save you time, I'd recommend having the page open in one tab and the assignment open in the other so it's just a matter of switching tabs back and fourth and not scrolling through different areas of your course one after the other.

As far as I know, Noah is right that there's no built in way to do it, but depending on the actual size of a "whole bunch" and your coding experience, you may want to consider using the API to grab the text from the assignments and paste it into a page.
