Lockdown Browser for Assignments that are Tests

From a mathematics perspective, adding functionality for Lockdown Browser on open source "assignments" is a major need. At our high school of 2000 students, this functionality is greatly needed. So our Algebra I and Geometry classes use Savvas as an assignment and teaching platform. All Savvas assignments and quizzes are presented to students as Assignments. A quiz in Savvas is viewed as an assignment in Canvas and is not treated differently. We also teach community college courses that use Delta Math and MyOpenMath for assignments and tests/quizzes. Again, unfortunately, the tests are just view as another assignment. For Delta Math and Savvas, we use external tool to map assignments and quizzes into Canvas. For MyOpenMath, we import a cartridge into Canvas for all the assignments and quizzes. If we test through Canvas, Lockdown Browser is not available. Two possible solutions:

1) Enable Lockdown Browser for tests/quizzes managed within Canvas as Assignments.

2) Allow External Tool within Quizzes. (Not sure how to handle the quizzes imported into Canvas from cartridges.

With the big push of offering concurrent enrollment and using open source systems like Delta Math and MyOpenMath, this lack of functionality is opening up a system that is now prone for cheating since CE curriculum is designated by the college of the CE. This is also a problem with districts that use a purchaced, common system like Savvas.

Also looking for work arounds.
