Making an assignment "extra credit"?

How do I make an assignment "extra credit" so it count ONLY if the student completes it but does NOT hurt the grade if they do not?

Hi Randall,

If you set the assignment as being worth 0 points, then any points that you award when grading the assignment are "extra credit".
