Missing Exam

My final exam I gave Winter quarter 2020 has disappeared from the course. I have looked everywhere. Any thoughts as to where to look further?

Hi,  @sarmstrong . I work for Instructure and have a bit more access than most Community members so I looked to see what courses you were enrolled in. It looks like your school creates new Canvas course "shells" for each semester. If I'm correct, you are likely not seeing the exam because it is in a course shell that was for a previous semester. It's common for new course shells to start out blank. If this is the case, you will want to import the exam (and any other content you would like to re-use) into your current course shell. Thank you, yes, each quarter I get a new blank shell but I was going to import the final exam from last quarter into my new shell and it has disappeared. I think there's a poltergeist in there! Ha! I will work with it more and see what I can do.

If you are looking in the course shell that you are sure contained the exam and it has been deleted, you may be able to undelete it, Undeleting things in Canvas‌. In my experience though, things have never been deleted unless someone deleted them. So if you are sure you didn't delete it, you may want to double-check that you are looking in / importing from the correct course shell. Good luck!
