Modification for Special Education in Quizzes

Is there a way to have a student start a quiz, save it, and then come back to it later?

I would like to be able to do this for students with accommodations, so they do not have to take the quiz all in one sitting. Is this possible? If so, how?

Hello @BrookeGates ,

Students can resume a quiz any time if the quiz does not have a time limit (as long as they do not submit their attempt with the Submit button). In Canvas quizzes auto-submit at the due date or when the time set for the quiz runs out. You can assign the students with different due dates on the edit page of the quiz and if the quiz has a time limit then you can give the student extra time on the moderate page. If you are using New Quizzes then you can moderate the students attempt as shown here

That is correct. If they leave or close the page of the quiz then they can go back to the quiz later and press the Resume Quiz button to continue their attempt. Students can view this guide for reference on how they can resume a quiz that they already started.
