Newbie sandbox user question about H5P integration

Hi,

I am a trial user testing Canvas LMS and wanted to test how I LTI-integrated a H5P learning module. H5P does not show up as a possible External Tool in my UI. I was under the impression that H5P integration would be possible. Am I misunderstanding something?

Hi @KjellAreRefsvik 

Are you an admin on either H5P or Canvas?  H5P integration requires admin access in H5P, and usually requires admin access in Canvas (though some schools allow teachers to add their own LTI integrations...)

H5P provides instructions for setting up the integration at Setting up H5P.com in Canvas LTI 1.3

Neither. I am just a teacher, creating learning paths in both systems. I was under the impression that our admin would give us the option of using the External Tool H5P, just as any of the other external tools, and that I could connect and integrate with my H5P content using LTI. Just as I do today in Blackboard by the way. I will read up on the different practices in Canvas using your link. Thank you for getting back to me!

I am using a free account here at canvas.instructure.com, yes.

The Blackboard LMS solution I am using at my workplace today, has an easy H5P LTI connect feature when setting up a learning module. That enables me to set up an LTI link to my learning material in my H5P account. 

I was told that Canvas would have something similar. Maybe that will happen as soon as we get our institutional version up and running and that external tools have been set up by our admins?

I have enclosed a couple of screenshots of what I am doing and the subsequent error message.
