We have a course where the Next button started skipping a page so that it takes learners from lesson 1 to lesson 3. This is occurring only in the student view. Instructors are able to navigate from lesson 1 to lesson 2 as expected.
Our understanding is that the navigation for the next button pulls from the modules and pages, which are in the correct sequence for instructors. How can we edit the Next button to stop it from skipping a page for students?
Yes, interesting and odd, @mdempsey . This is going to be well nigh impossible for our members to troubleshoot from a distance, so if you haven't yet, please submit a ticket to Canvas Support (How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?) so one of our support agents can look at the specifics.
Hi, @mdempseyWelcome to the Canvas Community! The first thing I'd do is to check that Lesson 2 is published, and if Lesson 2 is in a module of its own, make sure the module in which Lesson 2 resides is also published.

Maybe the page that lesson 1 was created on was linked to the assignment in lesson 3. If a new page or a copy of the page without links was not made it will still link to the item it was originally linked to. I had a similar problem where mine was actually nexting to the assignment from the previous week! I hope this didn't confuse you more.
