Other students notification of replying to a discussion, never had so many notifications about this before.

Did canvas have an update with notifications? It’s extra annoying to get 100+ notifications about student xyz submitted this and has reply to this. I’ve went into the settings to turn off student notifications and this does not work. I only keep notifications for canvas for when grades have been post. Extra annoying and meaningless notifications that can’t be turned off.

Did you know that you can turn off notifications to individual discussions by disabling your subscription? We are subscribed to a discussion whenever we post to it, and those notifications can be very irritating, I agree.
