[ARCHIVED] Question on Announcements

I have 5 sections of science and they are all cross linked on Canvas. In Announcements I wanted to send my students a specific link for each class period, so In the "post to" section I chose a specific class with the specific link. However, when I check on student view, it shows that a student can see all announcements I made to each section. How can I change it so the announcement goes to the specific section I designated it to. I attached an image of student view.

Hi Janet,

Looking at your course I think you have set it up correctly so that each section/period will only see the announcement for that section.  Your student preview is not respecting the section limitations which is why you see all the announcements in student preview mode.
