Quiz grade

Hello, 

I have a quiz with multiple attempts, and I graded one of the first ones, but it is not showing the grade in the grade book. However, when I go into the speed grader, I see the grade there, but it is greyed out. Images attached

I just used the Quizzes functionality in Canvas.

Something like this question has come up recently(I think it has ).  I believe what that means is that the grade of 20 is not for the current submission being viewed and that you are going to have to grade all the submissions in order for Canvas to assign a grade (that is why you still see the text document in the grade book).  For that quiz do you have a criteria as to which grade to keep?  i.e. latest or highest score?
