Quiz re-takes

A professor would like to revise a previous quiz to allow students to re-attempt the quiz.  I searched through the guides and see that there should be options to allow for this (see attached image), but our Canvas is not giving us the option to moderate the quiz or show student quiz results.  Can anyone provide any guidance as to why this might be the case?  Thank you!

In the image that you shared, partially hidden behind the three-dot menu you opened, I can see the link to "Moderate This Quiz" (under Related Items). Does that link not work?

Thank you for your response.  That link is not available as an option for us in our Canvas instance.  The image I shared was taken from one of the guide books.  Is there a setting or permission that needs to be set up for that to be an option?

I see, sorry, I misread your original message.

You say you have a quiz, is it a Classic Quiz or a New Quiz (or something else)? The image shared is from Classic Quizzes, but for New Quizzes, the moderate page is a bit different: How do I use the Moderate page in New Quizzes? - Instructure Community - 616 - you can tell whether it's a Classic or New Quiz a few different ways, but one of them is that New Quizzes will have the "Build" option before going into making questions (while in Classic Quizzes, it's "Edit").

If it's a different type of assignment, then it may not have a moderate page at all, but you may still be able to allow for extra submissions in their main edit page.

Hello!  We are working with classic quizzes.  I'm attaching a screenshot of what we see when we open a quiz.  The only options under the 3 dots next to "Published" are "Speedgrader" and "Delete".

Since you have the Submission Type option, that's not a Classic Quiz.
Given that's still a quiz (you're in the Quizzes tab), the only option left is for it to be a New Quiz (the partial "External Tool" URL that is visible in the page also suggests that).
You'll see the Moderate page as a tab after you click the Build button that should be in the bottom page, following the instructions in my last link.
