Quizzes and Assessments not visible to students

Suddenly my students cannot see published quizzes and assessments. They are showing as published on my side, but they can only access it through their gradebooks. Sometimes the quiz doesn't even show up in the right menu of "Things to Do." I have checked all of the categories for posting and am seeing no mistakes on my side. Any thoughts ?

Do the quizzes have due dates? If not, they probably won't show under "Things to do" nor on the calendar.

You can also let students see the "quizzes" or "assignments" tab under "Settings -> Navigation".

Alternatively, you can also add the quizzes to modules, or links to them in pages.

Absolutely they have due dates and they are in the modules, I didn't know they could go anywhere else. I have had 2 conversations with Canvas support that were frustrating- the 1st person told me to clear the cache for each module, I could do that by moving things around in the module. I don't need to tell you how unsuccessful that was. The second person told me it was because of Mastery Connect. After that comment I ended the conversation. They were not helpful. I am giving another quiz today and I can already see it unpublished in one class's gradebook but not in the other 3.

I don't have access to your Canvas page, of course, so please help me understand. About today's quiz:

• You have 4 classes, with a quiz written but not published (I guess you plan on publishing closer to class time).
• You can see the quiz on each of the 4 "Quizzes" tab, but the students cannot (if not, the quiz must be copied to each class) (note: what I meant before is that you can make the "quizzes" and/or the "assignments" navigation links available to students, and they could see all quizzes there)
• You can see the quiz on only one of the 4 gradebooks

Is that it? From the original post, you also said the students could only see the quizzes through their gradebooks. At the time, could you see them in the modules for each class?
