Hi again,  @vbirney

Now I get it, the teacher wants to make a previously completed Discussion available to a single student for whatever reasons.

This guide will describe how it can be easily done https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-9971-4152101243

Hi  @vbirney

Could you explain what you mean by "reassign? Reassign how, where, to whom, in under what conditions, in the same course, in another course?

Within the same course, one could simply edit the availability and due dates. Or even duplicate the discussion.

Let us know what you are trying to do, and we will try to help you.
