Registered as student instead of parent

I registered to canvas and can't pair as an observer with my son because I think I registered as a student. how can I fix this problem?

I registered to canvas and can't pair as an observer with my 3 kids because I think I registered as a student. How can I fix this problem? The app that I am using says "Canvas Student" app. I feel so lost.
