Hi
I have managed to import a SCORM package as a graded assignment in Canvas. It appears in the Assignments page correctly. It contains two self-marking quizzes which I can take and see my score as test student. But nothing gets recorded in the gradebook. The assignment appears, and the Test student user appears, but it doesn't recognise that there has been a submission. Should each quiz be exported as separate SCORMS and uploaded as two graded assignments? I would prefer to have the whole package as one assignment with a composite score delivered.
Many thanks for any help.
Just a couple of questions. What authoring tool are you using to create the SCORM quizzes? If you incorporate multiple quizzes into a SCORM package, I think you would need a slide that consolidates the quiz scores. The composite score would be what is recorded in the Canvas gradebook. It sounds like that is what you were doing but I just wanted to make sure.
Hi
Thank you Dr Nufer for your comments. I use Rise 360 to generate the SCORM.
I have managed to get the score on a SCORM package to appear automatically in the Gradebook.
I am now testing using three components.
I am testing the content only component which I want to record as complete/incomplete. When I exported from Rise, I chose graded assignment, track by completion.
I have gone in as a student and opened the assignment. I have viewed some of the content and then used the Exit course link. When I visit the Gradebook I expect to see Incomplete, but there is nothing. I specified in the assignment settings that grades should appear as Complete/Incomplete. I set points to 0. Any help greatly appreciated.
