[ARCHIVED] SMS contact method

I signed up to receive SMS messages for my child's school district.  When I receive an SMS message from Canvas it is always from a different number.  I tried adding the numbers to a single contact on my iPhone.

I discontinued adding the numbers to the one contact because the numbers never repeat.

Why does Canvas send from more than one number?

How can this behavior be changed?

I don't know all the workings of Canvas and SMS, but it's quite common for companies to use 3rd party services to send these notifications, which can use multiple numbers to deliver the message. I would suggest you contact your local support and they can open up a ticket to get more information. Thanks!
