[ARCHIVED] Skype button is not showing in "other services"

The skype activation does not show in the "other services" in the account settings.  Is there a way to turn this on either at the course or root level?

PS Skype does show in registered services so I can link to it but I cannot activate it in my profile.

Hello @pbrown2 ...

I'm not sure if you are a Canvas administrator at your school or not, but this is something that they can enable/disable at the Canvas account level.  This Guide, How do I enable web services for an account?, shows how this can be done by a Canvas admin.  You might want to have a conversation with that person or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department about this.
