[ARCHIVED] Sorting grading columns

Can you sort the grading columns based on the categories?  Like all of the tests are next to each other, all of the assignments are grouped together, all of the quizzes are grouped together?  I know it can be done by date, but I would prefer to see it by category.

Hi Stacy - Do you know if you have the classic or the new gradebook? Depending on what you are using, the available resources vary a little! It's always nice to pair items as closely as possible.

I highly recommend switching to the New Gradebook now (since it will be the only gradebook come Jan 18, 2020) and then you do precisely what you want: filter assignments by categories and other ways. How do I filter columns by type in the New Gradebook?
