Student Canvas app freezing and not opening

Hello!

I have a problem with my Canvas Student app on my IOS device.

I just got a new phone and downloaded the app but every time I try to open the app it freezes (meaning it only shows me the screen where the Canvas logo is loading on a white screen but does not able me to get further into the app - I will also attach a screenshot of it). 

The only way I can use the app is by removing the app from my phone and downloading it again or by "reset cache on next launch" from my setting.

Is there any possibility of resolving the issue?

I have just downloaded the student app and have a similar problem, though I'm not able to move past the find my school page at this point as it just freezes.

Version 6.14.0 was released on 11/29/2021. Did this solve the issue?
